Appearance
• Physical: Average height with a presence that makes her seem taller. Her skin has a permanent blue-tinged glow from constant communion with frost spirits. Her silver hair hangs loose and never freezes, even in the coldest winds. Her eyes shift color from pale blue to white depending on her spiritual connection. • Clothing: Wears ceremonial robes of white mammoth fur adorned with ice crystals that form naturally on the fabric. Carries a staff of eternal ice that never melts, topped with a sphere of compressed snow that shows visions. • Distinguishing Marks: Her breath is always visible as sparkling frost, even in warm rooms. Small ice crystals form on her eyelashes and never fall.

Backstory
Yrsa was a sickly child who should have died in her first winter. Instead, she was found by the previous High Shaman wandering the wastes in only a thin shift, surrounded by a circle of frost wolves who wouldn't harm her. The spirits had chosen her, and she has served them ever since, becoming the youngest High Shaman in recorded history.
Daily Life
Yrsa divides her time between leading ceremonies at the Citadel, interpreting visions for the Council of Chiefs, and walking the wastes in communion with the frost spirits. She eats little and sleeps less, sustained by spiritual energy.
Secret
Yrsa has been receiving visions of a great thaw that would destroy the Frostbound Wastes. She hasn't told the Council because she doesn't know if it's prophecy or fear, and she's terrified of causing panic.
